Knowledge-based systems are not dead in France, and Ingenia SA, a specialist in expert systems and artificial intelligence, has acquired 85% of Dialexis SA, a small artificial intelligence and man-machine interfaces company. The deal gives Ingenia a staff of 140 people and will carry the company to revenues of over $11m in 1994.
