Joining the rush of software houses to bring out Systems Application Architecture-compliant products, Arthur Young (IES) Ltd has announced Knowledgeware’s Information Engineering Workbench Cross System Product Enablement Facility which connects computer aided software engineering tools with IBM’s Cross System Product/Application Development 3.2.2: these tools are used to create diagrammatic specifications for applications systems planning, analysis and design on AT or PS/2 workstations, and the specifications can now be used to drive Cross System Product/Application Development via its external source format; consequently programmers can now choose whether to generate applications using the Information Engineering Workstation according to either Cross System Product specifications or Cobol specifications.
