Melville, New York-based Arrow Electronics Inc is divesting ancillary businesses (CI No 2,325) to top up its core distribution activities, and has acquired the electronic component distribution business of Field Oy, of Helsinki, Finland, a subsidiary of Instrumentarium Corp, on undisclosed terms.
