Arrow Electronics has agreed to acquire North American unified communications and managed services provider Shared Technologies.
Coppell, Texas based Shared Technologies, sells, installs, and maintains communications offerings, including unified communications, voice and data technologies, contact centre, network security, and traditional telephony.
The company has approximately 1,000 employees and reported total annual sales of $250m in 2009. It will report through Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions’ North American business.

Arrow Electronics is a provider of products, services and offerings to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing offerings. It is Headquartered in Melville, N.Y., and serves as a supply channel partner for suppliers and original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and commercial customers.
