Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), a business segment of Arrow Electronics has selected Alcatel-Lucent’s full line of enterprise voice, data and security offerings.
The addition of Alcatel-Lucent enterprise offerings to Arrow ECS’ networking portfolio is the result of Arrow’s acquisition of Nu Horizons Electronics.
With this acquistion, Nu Horizons resellers will join Arrow ECS, resellers can access the Arrow ECS’ line card of more than 75 leading offerings and services across the data center and the Nu Horizons team will continue to serve as the resellers primary support resources.
Arrow ECS said it will distribute Alcatel-Lucent enterprise offerings in the UK.
Arrow ECS North America Security, Virtualisation and Networking Practices vice-president Mike Nowlan said Alcatel-Lucent represents a significant addition to Arrow ECS’ networking offerings for resellers.
"We look forward to connecting our resellers to Alcatel-Lucent enterprise solutions, and we are eager to introduce Alcatel-Lucent’s resellers to all of the products, solutions and services available through Arrow ECS," said Nowlan.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise North America Channel Sales vice-president David York said with its broad reseller base and extensive enablement support, Arrow ECS now offers the reseller community a broader range of technology offerings that are reputable in enterprises across North America.
