After we closed the business page yesterday, Slough electronic parts company Arlen Plc released financial results showing net profits of UKP595,000 following extensive restructuring, especially within the Highland Electronics Group Plc subsidiary, on flat turnover; profits were boosted by UKP709,000 from the sale of Centrepiece Engineering Ltd; the chief executive departed over a dispute about a refinancing deal between Arlen, private investor Fortress Trust and Samuel Montagu & Co Ltd, advisor to the firm.
