Year-old start-up Arkhon Technologies Inc, Cerritos, California, has released the first component of its Automated Management Control System. AMCS/Device Manager enables the administrator to view and manage a range different network devices and components from within a single network map. It covers all SNMP devices, NetWare, X25 and MapTop protocols, OS/2, Windows and Solaris environments, local and wide area network devices, communication lines, and 70 hub and router devices.
