The Argentinian government has issued a decree formalising its intention to seek bidders for the installation and operation of cellular systems throughout the country: there are to be two networks in each of the two operational areas – one to be run by the successful bidder, and the other by terrestrial operators Telecom Argentina SA and Telefonica de Argentina SA.
