Cray Research Inc, Eagan, Minnesota reprots that the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center is scheduled to install a 128-procesor Cray T3D massively parallel processing system later this quarter at its facility at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks; it will be closely coupled with the Cray Y-MP M98 to offer Center users with a computing environment combining parallel vector processing and massively parallel processing capabilities.
