Archer’s industry reference library includes core standards such as Basel Risk Management Principles for Electronic Banking, FFIEC, CobiT 3.0, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 17799 and others.

Archer says that the integration of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard 1.1 (PCI 1.1) and Control Objectives for Information and related Technology 4.0 (CobiT 4.0) to its library will further empower companies to demonstrate regulatory due diligence in a centralized, comprehensive and repeatable manner.

Archer Policy Management facilitates the design, communication and management of security policies and compliance processes. With Archer, organizations can create and publish security, IT and organizational policies, standards and procedures through a web-based dashboard, enabling the consistent education and training of employees. This assists in tracking overall compliance, policy exceptions and violations.

PCI 1.1 provides for the protection of payment card information and the reduction of risk arising from wrongful disclosure of account and transaction data. CobiT 4.0 is an IT governance framework and supporting toolset that allows organizations to bridge the gap between control requirements, technical issues and business risks.

The integration of PCI 1.1 and CobiT 4.0 into the Archer Policy Management system allows organizations to establish greater control over their overall governance strategy and demonstrate compliance with the requirements identified in the PCI and CobiT standards.
