ARBOR LINKS TO INFORMIX WITH SQL

Arbor Software Corp says it is developing an SQL link to Informix OnLine Dynamic Server to enable Informix to fill Arbor’s Essbase multi-dimensional database using SQL. It is also integrating Essbase as an analytical data mart with Los Gatos, California-based Red Brick Systems Inc’s data warehouse. And Compuware Corp is putting its EcoTools system monitoring software up on Informix from September at a starting price of around $23,000.
