The board of Wordplex Information Systems Plc capitulated last night and decided to recommend that its shareholders accept the share exchange offer from Apricot Computers Plc. Although other potential predators were still weighing up the pros and cons of making a counter-offer yesterday, the UKP14.7m Apricot bid looks long odds on to succeed.
