Apricot Computers Plc raised prices on its micros an average 3.5% from Sunday: rises range from UKP100 on the Xen-S PC386, which goes up UKP100 to UKP1,600, to UKP500 on the VX800/30, now UKP14,000; Apricot reckons that its prices are still substantially below those for comparably configured machines from Compaq and IBM.
