APRICOT PUTS INGRES ON THE VX9000 SERIES

Apricot Computers Plc of Birmingham has signed to put Relational Technology Inc’s Ingres relational database management system onto Apricot’s VX9000 series computers which the company is selling following a five-year marketing deal signed last year with US parallel computers maker Sequent Computer Systems, Portland, Oregon; similar pacts with other relationals are planned.
