Apricot Computers Ltd is cutting the prices of its 80386 and 80486-based computers by up to 40%: the offer runs until March 31 – when no doubt a new one will be needed – and applies to the Xen-LS range and NT notebooks; the Xen-LS line comprises 16MHz 80386SX, 20MHz 80386SX and a 20MHz 80486SX, all with 50Mb, 100Mb or 240Mb hard drives; a 240Mb 80486SX version costs UKP2,145, down by 37.6%; notebooks include the NT 386SX-40 and NT 386SX-60, and they are UKP11,450 and UKP1,545, reductions of 14.7% and 18.5% respectively.
