AppSense’s StrataApps allows users to manage Apps in multiple desktops

StrataApps fills the gap between user demand and IT application service delivery

By CBR Staff Writer

Software provider of user virtualisation applications, AppSense has released the second version of its StrataApps, an application management platform that enables users to manage personal productivity applications across multiple desktops and devices.

The second version of StrataApps provides an enhanced user experience and delivers improved application compatibility.

StrataApps is designed to fill the gap between user demand and IT application service delivery. It also enables IT to control and focus on the delivery of core business applications while enabling users to manage their own personal applications.

The new application includes import and export features that help users to export their StrataApps application DataStore to different external locations and even cloud based storage infrastructures.

Exporting StrataApps application DataStore to a multitude of locations, users can now create libraries, centrally store logically grouped applications and simply import them into any new desktop session or onto any new device with just a few clicks.

StrataApps streamlines IT management and adds automatic update notification options as new features, enhancements that are released from AppSense Labs.
