APPLE’S CLARIS UNIT REPORTS BOOM IN Q4, YEARLY REVENUES

Claris Corp, wholly-owned software subsidiary of Apple Computer Inc, announced that fourth-quarter revenue rose 61% to $91.1m, while annual revenue rose 19% to $281.7m. Both figures were records, the company says. Although Claris doesn’t report its profits on a quarterly basis, it claims that Q4 was its 20th consecutive profitable quarter.
