Apple Computer Inc’s forthcoming low-cost mass-market Macintoshes, which will go through retailers like Sears, Roebuck & Co and volume consumer electronic stores, are reportedly to be called Performa: they will include new and relabelled existing machines, and some may come with preloaded applications.
