APPLE WAS “DANGEROUS” IN JULY

Apple Corp’s interim chief executive Steve Jobs claimed he found a really dangerous situation when he moved in after Gil Amelio was fired in July. Jobs justified his decision to eliminate the clone licensees by claiming that each clone was costing the company hundreds of dollars. He said he had identified 30% of Apple products as gems worth pursuing.
