The interminable Apple Computer Inc suit against Microsoft Corp and Hewlett-Packard Co has reached a few punctuation marks: discovery will have to be completed by January 31 next year, and Judge Vaugn Walker has dismissed counter-suits against Apple alleging that it has violated the agreement it signed in 1985 with Microsoft, and that it is trying to monopolise the market.
