Apple Computer Inc has updated the Apple IIe with an expanded keyboard with numeric keypad – functionally equivalent to that for the IIgs – better training and reference material and the new platinum colour scheme – at the old price of $829. Apple also said that the $500 16-bit Apple IIgs Upgrade Kit for the IIe would be available this month.
