APPLE UNVEILS SMALL BUSINESS POWER MACS

Apple Computer Inc included special Apple Small Business Macintosh versions of its new Power Macintosh 6500 and 4400 personal computers. The Small Business Macintosh 6500/250 and the Small Business Macintosh 4400/200 come with a built-in facsimile modem, 12 times standard speed CD-ROM drive, digital answering system and a speakerphone, it said. The 6500/250 comes with a 250MHz PowerPC 603e RISC with 256Kb level two cache, 48Mb of memory, 2Mb video RAM, a 4Gb hard disk and 1.4Mb floppy drive for $2,600, and the 4400/200 has a 200MHz PowerPC 603e with 256Kb level 2 cache, 32Mb memory, 2Mb video RAM, a 2Gb hard disk and 1.4Mb floppy drive for some $2,000.
