Apple Computer Inc was in Cannes for the Milia multimedia fair yesterday and had to spend some time denying talk flying round that it has already decided to scrap the Pippin multimedia and games station while it showed off the 225MHz PowerPC-based Hooper PowerBook. The machine, due next month, was shown displaying a realistic video image from a camera mounted on the machine and carried around the room.
