APPLE TO REPURCHASE 5M OF ITS OWN SHARES

It doesn’t seem a very wise home for the cash of a high-tech company however well endowed it is, but Apple Computer Inc’s board has approved repurchase of up to an additional 5m of its own shares on top of the 10m agreed in July 1986; by November 11 it had bought 9m.
