APPLE TO REDUCE JAPANESE COSTS BY $200M IN RESTRUCTURING

Apple Computer Inc chairman Gilbert Amelio said in Japan that the company will reduce costs by $400m a year through its latest restructuring efforts. Details of the measures will be announced next month.
