Apple Computer Inc chief executive and chairman, Gilbert Amelio did not really seem to have too much to say but Reuters gleaned that he does not plan any further write-offs or charges as a consequence of the company-wide restructuring and does not expect any mega-event to occur. He added that from this quarter, Apple will start reducing the number of computer models it sells, reckoning this will cut costs substantially.
