APPLE TO ATTEND THE DEXPO EUROPE 87 SHOW

By CBR Staff Writer

Apple Computer UK Ltd had wanted to attend the Dexpo Europe 87 show in London last week following its non-aggression pact with DEC and agreement to work towards high-level connectivity between the Mac and the VAX, but the exhibition was already fully booked so it had to make do with a conference room where the significance of the Apple-DEC deal was explained to exhibitors: just to be sure of a strong presence at Dexpo Europe ’88, set for Olympia one year from now, the company has booked enough space for an entire Apple village to house companies developing products for integrated Apple-DEC environments.
