APPLE SHOULD DUMP JOBS, KILL RHAPSODY SAYS UPSIDE

According to Upside magazine, Apple Computer Inc should dump Steve Jobs, hire Be Inc’s Jean-Louis Gasse or Netscape Communications Corp’s Jim Barksdale as its new chief executive officer and kill the forthcoming Rhapsody edition of its MacOS operating system. Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal’s suggestions include Robert Frankenberg, ex chief executive of Novell Inc, Ed Zander of Sun Microsoystems Inc, Craig Mundie of Microsoft Corp and Carol Bartz, chief executive of Autodesk Inc.
