APPLE PUTS UP $15M FOR $60M EUROPEAN VENTURE FUND

Apple Europe has created a venture capital investment fund in partnership with Advent International, to invest in European computer companies doing or planning to do things that Apple sees as of strategic interest. These include Unix, multi-media and links to DEC and IBM kit. Apple is putting up $15m for a $60m fund for 30 firms over 10 years.
