Apple Computer Inc is on target for good profits on sales of $725m to $750m, a rise of around 40%, for its fiscal fourth quarter to September, chief executive John Sculley told analysts this week; Apple did $39.9m net in the fourth quarter last year, and the sales target implies sales for the year of $2,600m, putting it ahead of Wang Laboratories in terms of size – and that out of just two product lines.
