Apple Computer Inc yesterday added the new PowerBook 1400 family of notebook computers for delivery in mid-November at from $2,500. They feature a built-in CD-ROM drive and a bigger screen. The company also said it will introduce further new series of PowerBooks in first half 1997 with more advanced multimedia and communications capabilities.
