APPLE LAUNCHES NEW POWER MACS

Apple Computer Inc on Friday launched two Macintoshes with Windows co-processors factory-fitted: the machines are the Power Macintosh 7300/180 and the Power Macintosh 4400/200, and include a 166MHz Pentium processor PCI board, which is also is available as an upgrade board for other models that use the Peripheral Component Interconnect bus. The new machines, prices for which were not given, are to be available in volume by the end of May and the new PCI board is scheduled to follow along in June.
