Apple Computer Inc employees have an edgy three weeks ahead of them according to MacWeek, because it reckons that the company’s performance for the rest of this quarter will determine whether and by how much the Cupertino company will have to cut its workforce further: if sales are as dismal as most suspect, Apple will cut from 400 to 1,400 more jobs, depending on the sales figures, with the news coming as a nasty early Christmas present.
