Apple Japan Inc says it wants to get back to the glory days when it held a 16% share of its domestic market for personal computers, but it won’t be this year. Shipments for 1997 are likely to fall short of the 700,000 units shipped in 1996, largely because of a stock shortage earlier this year, president Eiko Harada said.
