Apple Computer Inc has warned computer dealers of problems with several portable and desktop computer lines, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The problems, which Apple is notifying proactively, range from cracks in the plastic housing and faulty AC power connectors on the PowerBook 5300 and 190, and said dealers should return all models immediately. Some Power Mac and Performa models have also suffered from system freezes and sudden changes in colors, Apple added.
