APPLE, IBM AND MOTOROLA SIGN COMMON HARDWARE REFERENCE SPEC

Apple Computer Inc, Motorola Inc and IBM Corp have finally put their signatures to the Common Hardware Reference Platform specification, designed to unify the Macintosh and PowerPC Reference Platform worlds. The first machine – or rather a cobbled prototype – is expected at the Comdex/Fall show, going from November 12 to 17 in Las Vegas.
