APPLE HAS ORDER FROM GENERAL MOTOR’S ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS DIVISION

Apple Computer Inc has reportedly sold 10,000 Macintoshes to General Motors’ Electronic Data Systems division, giving GM the largest in-stallation of Macintoshes anywhere: the automaker has an estimated 6,000 to 8,000 Macs already, and although Apple to give details of the sale, Newsbytes hears that the initial contract is worth $25m and involves a large number of Mac IIs.
