Now that it is beginning to play in the US Federal market, Apple Computer Inc needs to offer security and yesterday announced A/UX 3.0 Secure, a C2 level secure version of its A/UX implementation of Unix developed in accordance with the Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria published by the US Defense Department; A/UX 3.0 Secure will be out fourth quarter; it’s not yet priced.
