Apple Computer Inc has a $2.5m order for 350 Macintosh IIx and IIcx personal computers from American Airlines Inc: the agreement also includes systems integration services and the equipment will be used in American’s new $90m Systems Operation Control centre in Fort Worth, Texas, which is responsible for the worldwide daily operation of all American Airlines flights.
