Apple Computer Inc general counsel and vice-president John Karalis is the latest to find the pace on the Coast too hot, and plans to leave the company this week to return to private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, specialising in corporate law; he had held similar positions at Sperry Corp and Honeywell Inc.
