APPLE FORECASTS GROWTH OF THE PC SALES

Apple Computer Inc is forecasting that personal computer sales will grow faster this year than in 1987: chairman John Sculley told analysts that the company looks for a 30% increase in dollar terms this year against 25% in 1987; he also forecast a 50% growth in sales for Apple’s fiscal first half which ends in March, to about $1,860m; We are well on are way to becoming the $5 billion company that we hope to be by 1990, Sculley declared.
