Apple Computer Inc employees predictably took news of the emerging alliance with IBM Corp badly, but instead of donning black armbands or hanging their hats with crepe, according to the New York Times they covered over the rainbow-coloured Apple logo at headquarters with a drab facsimile of the thing with the coloured lines replaced by the blue stripes from the IBM logo.
