We are still coming across things that we missed at the Comdex trade show, like the first Apple Computer Inc demonstration of a Peripheral Component Interconnect machine with a PowerPC 604 processor. The PowerPC 604 in question was apparently running at 120MHz, the first time that we have heard of the chip running at this speed. As with all of these demonstrations, Apple was making no warranty that the thing would ever appear commercially. No more details of what was inside the box were available.
