APPLE DELIVERS CYBERDOG UPGRADE

By CBR Staff Writer

Apple Computer Inc has updated its Cyberdog suite of Internet technologies to release 2.0. Cyberdog is one of the expected components of the MacOS 8 release, due later this year, but it’s based on the now abandoned OpenDoc component technology. It was also one of those projects that was subject to reduced investment in the last round of Apple cuts (CI No 3,122), so don’t bet on it being around forever.
