APPLE CUTS TAGS, ADDS POWERBOOKS

Apple Computer Inc duly announced those new Powerbooks yesterday (CI No 2,411) and also made price cuts of between 14% and 20% on some Macintosh Quadras, and up to 27% on existing PowerBooks and peripherals. The new PowerBooks are PowerPC-ready and use the 68LC040 microprocessor. The cuts include three models of the Quadra 660AV line and Quadra 950 Publishing Configuration.
