APPLE CUTS PRICES ON POWER MACS AND PERFORMAS

Apple Computer Inc has chopped the prices of its Power Macintosh and Performa computers, for resellers, by up to $300. It was only a couple of months ago that the troubled company announced price cuts of some $200 (CI No 3,145) on Performa and its Powerbook 1400 series of machines.
