APPLE CUTS PRICES ON MOST MACINTOSH PRODUCTS

Apple Computer UK Ltd has cut pric-es on most of its Macintosh products, with a II with single 800Kb floppy falling 10.6% to UKP3,365, and a II with 40Mb hard disk and colour reduced 5% to UKP5,695; the Macintosh SE with twin 800Kb floppies is off 12% to UKP2,195, 9.4% with 20Mb hard disk, and the Macintosh Plus is down by 10% to UKP1,795; there is still no word of the MultiFinder multi-tasking operating system, which was announced in September.
