APPLE CORPS SUES APPLE COMPUTER

The Beatles’ company – or what is left of it – Apple Corps Ltd is suing Apple Computer Inc over the music-related add-ons for its personal computers. Apple Corps contends that a 1981 trademark agreement between the two companies bars the computer manufacturer from using the Apple name in connection with anything musical, such as MIDI Musical Instrument Digital Interfaces.
