The short list for the new Apple Computer Inc chief executive officer is getting shorter, reports the Wall Street Journal. On the list now are: Samual Palmisano, in charge of personal computers at IBM Corp; Ed Zander of Sun Microsystems Inc, David Dorman of SBC Communications Inc and Joe Costello, president and chief executive officer of Cadance Design Systems Inc.
