No details, but Apple Computer Inc yesterday unveiled an Open Scripting Architecture that is an extension of the new Macintosh System 7 operating system: the architecture is designed to provide a standard for all Macintosh applications, enabling users to customise applications that conform to it and automate repetitive tasks with macros and batch files and by using the Hypertalk free-form language.
